This contest is designed to encourage affiliates to develop
and record their historical background in a systematic manner throughout
the years. It is intended to be the collection point of all activities
of the affiliate and members for a one year period.
The scrapbook should be organized according to the major committees
found in the affiliates program of activities using the official FFA
scrapbook (12-½" x 17"). Pictures and articles (dated)
of each activity can be included only once and under the most appropriate
committee as identified. Only one scrapbook per affiliate may be entered.
Suggested items to include are pictures of affiliate members in their
local setting, FFA Alumni activities, news stories about affiliate
activities and members (must include date of publication), the affiliates
program of activities, and other material that completes the affiliate's
activities.
Factors that will be considered in evaluation include organization,
neatness, quality of pictures, identification of pictures and clippings,
quality of projects, applicable material, and completeness.
Scrapbooks will be placed on display and judged during the Georgia
FFA Alumni annual meeting. State winners will be submitted to the National
FFA Alumni for consideration at the national level.
