This contest is designed to encourage FFA Alumni Affiliates
to develop and utilize a recruitment and promotional display
to
use in local
community events.
It is intended to be a representation of the alumni affiliate
and its accomplishments.
The display should be constructed on a tri fold board not to exceed
36” X 48”. Suggested items to include on the display are
pictures of affiliate members in their local setting, FFA Alumni activities,
news stories about affiliate activities and members, recruitment materials
and other items that represent the affiliate. Only one display per
affiliate may be entered.
Factors that will be considered in evaluation include usefulness as
a recruitment tool, support of the local FFA chapter, and overall appearance.
Display boards will be judged during the Georgia
FFA & FFA Alumni Convention in Macon. All display boards must
be in place at the state convention by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday,
April 28.
State
Winners
will be announced during the Georgia FFA Alumni Awards Session at State
Convention on Saturday, April 30.
Winners receive:
1st - $100 cash
2nd - $75 cash
3rd - $50 cash
